I don't release lip balms very often because I have been on a mission to formulate the best lip balm ever. Lip care is probably the most challenging product to make. If you just throw oils and butters together, they tend to dry your lips out even more over time, and it really doesn't matter how healing those individual ingredients are supposed to be. After long and extensive studies into skin hydration and barrier repair, I finally settled on this formula. This is my final product, and I am so happy with it. You can actually feel the richness of the formula the moment it goes on. It is incredibly soothing and feels amazing on the lips. I also made the specific choice to leave out all essential oils. The skin on our lips is incredibly thin, and essential oils can irritate that delicate barrier and cause more dryness over time. Because this is unfragranced, it has a very natural, earthy scent. You can actually smell the botanicals in the jar, which is a reminder of how raw and natural this healing balm really is. The ingredients were chosen for a very specific purpose: Calendula provides deep healing and soothing properties for cracked or weather-beaten lips. Lanolin and Tallow are deeply nourishing and mimic your skin's natural barrier, preventing moisture loss without causing that frustrating rebound dryness. Jojoba and Squalane offer a luxurious texture that locks in hydration and provides long-lasting protection.

They are definitely on the flighty side and are not going to be your calm, cuddly lap chickens. But what they lack in calmness, they more than make up for in production. They are excellent layers that give huge white eggs, and we even get the occasional double yolk, which is always a fun surprise to find in the nesting boxes. To make sure you get the highest quality and freshest eggs possible for your incubator, I don't keep a stockpile waiting around. As soon as your order comes in, I start gathering your eggs straight from the coop. Because I want the best hatch rate for you, all egg orders are sent out on Mondays. So it doesn't matter which day of the week you place your order, I will gather them fresh and send them off the very next Monday. This ensures they get to you quickly and do not end up sitting in a depot over the weekend.
