We want you to love your Back to Basics Homestead products. Because of the handmade and deeply personal nature of our skincare, remedies, and seeds, we have strict guidelines to protect the integrity of our products and ensure everyone receives safe, untampered goods.
Standard Returns
You have 14 days from receiving your order to request a return. Your item must be completely unused, in the exact condition that you received it, and in its original, sealed packaging.
Hygiene and Used Products
Due to the nature of our artisanal skincare, we strictly do not accept returns or issue refunds for any products that have been opened, unsealed, or used. All items must remain in their original, untouched condition to be eligible for a return. We cannot resell an opened jar of cream, so we cannot accept it back under any circumstances.
Personal Preference and Skin Types
Everyone’s skin responds differently to various natural ingredients. We do not offer refunds or exchanges if a product does not suit your specific skin type, or if you decide you do not prefer the texture, scent, or feel of the product after purchasing.
Allergies and Sensitivities
While we use pure natural ingredients and botanicals straight from our homestead, personal sensitivities can still occur. We highly recommend doing a small patch test first. We cannot accept returns or process refunds due to individual skin reactions or allergies. All our ingredients are added in all of our product descriptions.
Non-Returnable Items
For health, safety, and hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on opened skincare creams, soaps, herbal remedies, tinctures, or any food items.
Defective Goods
We only issue replacements or refunds if an order has a genuine manufacturing defect. If this happens, please reach out right away with photos of the damage so we can make it right.
How to Start a Return
Send an email to natachavisagie9@gmail.com with your order number and the exact reason for the return. We will review your request and send you the return shipping address and instructions if it qualifies.
Shipping Costs
You are responsible for paying the shipping costs to return your item to us. Original shipping costs are non-refundable, and if you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from it.
Refund Processing
Once your return is received and inspected to ensure it is completely unopened and in original condition, we will send you an email to confirm. Approved refunds are processed automatically back to your original payment method.
