1. Orders & Pricing
All prices listed on our website are in South African Rand (ZAR).
Products are subject to availability. If an item becomes unavailable after an order is placed, we will notify you and offer a replacement or a full refund.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel any order in the event of an obvious pricing error or suspected fraudulent transaction.
2. Payment Terms
We accept payments via Payflex, debit card, credit card, and other payment methods offered at checkout.
When selecting Payflex at checkout, you enter into a separate agreement with Payflex South Africa subject to their credit approval and terms.
3. Shipping & Delivery
We deliver within South Africa using reputable courier services.
Estimated delivery times are guidelines and not guaranteed delivery dates. We are not liable for courier delays beyond our reasonable control once the parcel has been handed to the courier.
Risk in the products passes to you upon delivery to the specified delivery address.
4. Returns & Refunds (Consumer Protection Act)
Standard Returns: If you change your mind, you may return unopened, unused products in their original condition within 14 days of receipt for an exchange or store credit/refund.
Return Shipping: Return shipping costs for change-of-mind purchases are the responsibility of the customer.
Defective Items: If you receive a defective product, please notify us at natachavisagie9@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the item and packaging. We will arrange a replacement or full refund at no extra charge to you.
Exclusions: For health, hygiene, and safety reasons, opened or used personal care products, skincare, custom goods, or perishable items cannot be returned unless proven defective.
5. Product Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
Our products are intended for general consumer use as described on this website.
While we take every care in formulating and describing our products, customers with sensitive skin or allergies should perform a patch test or review ingredients carefully prior to use. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.
To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Back to Basics Homestead shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the misuse or improper storage of our products.
6. Privacy (POPIA Compliance)
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
Your details are strictly used to process orders, arrange delivery, and communicate regarding your purchase. We do not sell or share your personal data with unauthorized third parties.
